Im not sure how old the movie is but i havent seen it and im sure some other people havent. But Sorrow's Furnace is it the new expansion pack coming out or is it just a huge update?

it's a live update, sarrows furnace and one other area (I cannot name right now since i cannot recall what it is) are two area's being added via live updates. The first expansion so far has not yet been announced.

Sorrows Furnace and Grenth's Footprints ... they are due for release before June 28 (2 month mark). Realistically they will be ready bby mid month

wow i'm still a long way from ascension i think but i hope this gives all those "finished" something to do cheer!

ok what i figured from the movie...the stone summit are causing trouble again digging up some ancient thingy wich we will have to desotry ooh i can't wait *collapses* and i still wanna kill that dwarf that killed rurik!

Hi,

Those two areas -- Grenth's Footprints and Sorrow's Furnace -- are part of a free live update that is due this summer. (No date has been set.) They are large explorable areas with a lot of quests within them.

We're looking forward to showing you this very different area of Tyria.

I read that they plan on the expansion (and most likely the updates) will be set for post-ascension and maxed out characters. I think the idea is that people who are not ascended or maxed out will still have lots of stuff do to whereas maxed out characters are limited to exploring, trading and skill/rune hunting.

I just hope the area got alot of god reasons for us to go there... I mean... if we get to fight something like glint except it drop some nice stuffs... yea, you defintely will see people trying to group to go there... the mechanic golem does give me some hope in that area...

I hope there are more quests to do aswell. Maybe we will get lucky and find an NPC that gives constant randomly generated quests
